Short bio
Mercedes Alda is an Associate Professor of the Accounting and Finance department and an associate researcher at the Institute on Employment, Digital Society and Sustainability (IEDIS) at the University of Zaragoza.
She holds a PhD from the University of Zaragoza (2012) with a PhD thesis entitled “Pension funds in Europe: performance analysis in Spain and the United Kingdom” (Cum Laude and European Mention). Mercedes Alda teaches finance courses at the Faculty of Economics and Business.
She did a research stay at Dublin City University (2010). Her main research topics are portfolio management in pension funds and mutual funds.
