Short Bio
Guillermo Badía is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting and Finance at the University of Zaragoza. He holds a PhD in Financial Economics and Accounting from the University of Zaragoza, and his main research interests are asset pricing and portfolio management, with a focus on sustainable and behavioural finance.
He was the Principal Researcher of the Finance Research Group at the University of Deusto from 2020 to 2024 and has been a panel member of the European Sustainable Investment Forum (EUROSIF) since 2020. His research has been published in several journals including Accounting & Finance, Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, International Journal of Finance and Economics, and Economics Letters.
Guillermo has participated in various national and European research projects, acting as Principal Researcher in several of them. He has also played an active role in academic community building: in 2018, he co-founded and served as the first president of the Brown Bag Seminars at the University of Zaragoza. He was the founding president of the International Workshop on ESG Values (University of Deusto, 2022), a forum held every two years at different universities. He is committed to advancing finance through research and collaboration with industry.
