Our current research areas continue all previous Ciber research but present an important innovation: studying the return to society. Our mission fits well with current trends in social economy research. We emphasize the study of social performance and propose indicators that measure aspects such as social efficiency and outreach.

Economic Players
Ciber evaluates the return to society of three types of economic players: (1) companies, particularly start-ups, hybrid organizations, social sector firms, and financial institutions, (2) public administrations, and (3) financial markets and investors. Furthermore, as Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) dimensions are an increasingly important part of the investment process, Ciber evaluates ESG issues to obtain a better understanding of investment decisions and how they contribute to society.
