Short Bio

José Luis Sarto is a Full Professor of Finance and an associate researcher at the Institute on Employment, Digital Society and Sustainability (IEDIS) at the University of Zaragoza. He received his doctorate from the University of Zaragoza in 1995 after defending the thesis “Valuation of mutual fund management”. His research focuses on portfolio management and behavioural finance.

He has been visiting researcher at the University of Cologne (Germany) and the University of Minho (Portugal). José Luis has been awarded by The Spanish Analysts Institute (2015) and The Spanish Finance Association (2022).
